After the shutdown of the diesel generator set, it is also necessary to carry out the following work:

1. Check the unit for "three leaks" (lubricating oil, fuel oil and coolant);

2. Turn off the fuel valve;

3. Turn off the air inlet and exhaust facilities of the machine room (if necessary);

4. Turn off the generator output air switch;

5. Turn off the power key switch of the control panel, take out the key and keep it properly (if necessary);

6. When the diesel generator set is shut down for a long time or maintained, the negative pole cable of the unit starting battery must be removed, and the fuel and coolant shall be drained if necessary.
